H.O.L.I.D.A.Y aka V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N

Assalamulaikum
it has been sooooooo long i'm not updating my entry...
too busy...but today i want to share with all of you about my vacation recently..
my boss went to China on 13th -19th disember 2010. So I took this opportunity to apply cuti also. I guess what he approve it...yeay...weeeeeeeeeeeee...
We were off to Water Carnival on the 13th disember (monday)
saja going there on weekdays so that there will be no crowded there. My elder daughter like to stay at hotel . If going vacation must stay at hotel that what we called vacation she claim.
That make her father's live became easier because no need to go farther away..only find a hotel to stay....wink wink wink...here some photos been taken during the vacation...enjoice...

coffee chocolate slice



Bismillahhirrahmanirrahim
Assalamualikum
Ini cake yang i buat last saturday, ambik dari blog table for two or more..
she use walnut to cover the cake, but i dun have so I use chocolate ganache ..
bahan-bahannya adalah:

2 sticks of Nescafe 2 in 1 (no sugar), or substitute with 2 tsp regular Nescafe with 6 tsp creamer/coffeemate
50ml hot water
3 egg yolks
20gm sugar, (If using nescafe 3in1, can omit this sugar)
45gm corn oil
70gm self raising flour, sifted

3 egg whites
¼ tsp cream of tartar or 1 tsp lemon juice
65gm sugar
Some buttercream for filling

cara2nya adalah:

1. Preheat oven at 160/180C. Line a 10X10 inch shallow square pan.
2. Mix Nescafe and 20gm sugar with hot water.
3. Mix egg yolks with oil. Combine with (1)
4. Mix in sifted flour. Leave aside.
5. Beat egg whites until frothy. Put in cream of tartar and beat until soft peaks.
6. Gradually beat in sugar until egg whites turn stiff.
7. Fold in 1/3 of beaten egg whites into (4).
8. Pour the batter into remaining egg whites and fold.
9. Pour batter into prepared pan and level the surface.
10. Bake for 25 minutes.
11. Remove cake from pan to cool on rack, peel away the side liners and let it cool down completely.
12. When cool completely, slice into half.
13. Sandwich with some buttercream.

Salam, everybody..yesterday i was MC coz having headache and sakit2 urat..dun know why...maybe because kena hujan sehari sebelumnya kot...I sleep morning untill afternoon..
petang tu rasa ok sikit, so i manage to finished this Washing Maching cover...ok dak? Ok lah tu kan..I use perca-perca kain yang lama-lama aja..ok..that all my entry for today, still not really well..bye..

What I like the most is that polka dot bow ..muah...:D

Watson membership

Assalamualaikum..
Hari Jumaat retu payday..so kalut ajak hubby p watson beli barang sikit...selalunya p dengan anak-anak, memang nak cepat aja.
Anak-anak dan husben wait in the car. But today just two of us..I take this oportunity untuk register membership.
Tak sangka ya, bnyk jugak barang yang dapat diskaun dengan adanya membership..alangkah ruginya i before this kan...

Kek Gula Hangus

Asalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera
Semalam ada buat kek Gula Hangus aka Kek Sarang Semut

dulu penah buat dah sekali tapi x menjadi, sebab x perap..kali nih perap lama 4 jam..hehe
dan hasilnya sungguh membanggakan..ahaks..puji diri sendiri ko...

Ini versi belum potong, ish terliuqnya..tapi nak bawak p makan ramai2 malm ni kat rumah ipar...kalau dah start mkn memang x leh stop..huhuhu..hantu kek lagu tu lahh..
ambik resepi dari sini

Bahan-bahan ( 6 orang )
1 cawan gula
1 cawan air panas
1 cawan tepung gandum
1 cawan susu pekat
2 camt soda bikarbonat
4 biji telur
2 camb mentega

Cara-cara
Masak gula dengan api sederhana hingga hangus.
Masukkan air dan masak lagi hingga gula cair.
Masukkan mentega. Sejukkan. Ketepikan dulu.
Pukul telur hingga betul2 kembang dan pekat.
Masukkan susu pekat ke dalam telur tadi, kacau sebati.
Masukkan pula tepung + soda. Sebatikan.
Akhir sekali, masukkan air gula yang dah sejuk.
Perap adunan selama lebih kurang 3-4 jam.
Bakar dengan api sederhana 160-180 selama 1 jam"

Sotong Goreng Kunyit

Bismillahhirrahmanirrahim..
Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera..pagi ni, masak sotong goreng kunit untuk kak long bawak bekal p sekolah...my daughter jenis yang suka bawak bekal, she said sooo not intrested to Q, nak beli food kat canteen.


So I made this...very simple onle..but still want to give the recipe...:P
bahan-bahan:
sotong saiz sederhana dalam 5 ekor
kacang buncis 6 batang
Cili merah satu biji
bawang besar +bawang putih
halia
minyak
garam
kunyit
gula
Caranya:
1. Siang sotong dengan membuang benda hitam tu, buang gigi dan mata dia.. di basuh bersih dan ditoskan.
2. lumur garam dan kunyit perap seketika.
3. sementara itu potong kacang buncis
4. Halia dan bawang ditumbuk kasar
5. gorengkan sotong dengan sedkit minyak, jgn terlalu lama..bila dah agak masak angkat dan toskan.
6. Dengan lebihan minyak yang ada tumis bawang dan halia..lepas naik bau masukkan kacang buncis.
7. masukkan sedikit gula
8. Masukkan sotong yang telah digoreng tadi dan masukkan Cili merah.
ok..tu ja...mudah bangeett..

Kek Oren

Salam semua....haaaa...here it comes again what I call semangat gilak baking...hahaha
baked cake again last night...it was kek oren ambik resepi from my resepi here.
Very moist and lembut...sedappp...very simple one..
but it turned out was very great!


ini dah siap potong untuk bwk mai opis...
:)

ni sedia untuk dingappppp but I think the oren color shoul be more..so that i will looked more seksi...sikalang kaler dia mcm pudar...
ok enough rambling now the resepy

Bahan-bahan ( satu family leh mkn.. )
250gm tepung gandum
175gm gula halus
175gm butter
2 sudu besar fresh milk
1 sudu teh baking powder
1-2 sudu teh parutan kulit oren
3 biji telur
jus dari 1 biji oren
1/2 sudu teh garam
Cara-cara
Ayak tepung gandum, baking powder dan garam.
Pukul butter dan gula hingga kembang.
Masukkan telur satu-satu.
Masukkan tepung, parutan kulit oren, fresh milk dan jus oren. pukul sebati.
Bakar hingga masak..(45min-1 jam..bergantung pada oven)

Japanese Cotton Cheese Cake

Assalamulaikum dan salam sejahtera..lama tak update blog...tak sempat..anak kalut exam final..
mama depa pon kalut jugaklah..saja buat2 kalut..ahaks.
malam kemarin buat kek nih..sedap wey....x rugi buat...rasa dia sesedap nama dia.. :)
Kek cek ada ada kehangitan sikit..tapi tidak mencacatkan rasa dia...
mmmm...marvelous...walaaa..
see...nampak kan..tekstur dia..gebu ya amattt... wapon ada sedikit hangit..sebab tempreture oven kan x sama..I tak sempat adjust..but the taste still good..
cuba ya..ni resepinya..
I C&P dari blog sini..banyak kek beliau yang menarik perhatian, nanti nak cuba kek lain pulak..

Bahan-bahan ( 8-inci )Bahan A:
250g cream cheese
50g butter
100 ml susu segar (fresh milk) -x dak so i guna whipping cream
6 biji kuning telur
1 sdb jus lemon
1/4 sdk garam
60g tepung kek / tepung superfine -guna tepung gandum jek + 1 tsp baking powder
20g tepung jagung (cornflour/cornstarch)
Bahan B:
140g gula (granulated sugar)
6 biji putih telur
3/4 sdk jus lemon
Cara-cara:-Utk adunan A:
1. Cairkan cream cheese, butter & susu dgn teknik double boiler. Bila dah cair, sejukkan adunan cream cheese tu td.
2. Kemudian, campurkan ke dlm adunan c/chs td dgn tepung, tepung jagung, kuning telur, garam & jus lemon ke dlm adunan cream cheese & gaul hgga sebati (gaul guna senduk kayu sj).
Utk adunan B:
1. Dalam bekas lain, pukul putih telur bersama jus lemon, sampai berbuih2 (foamy).
2. Lepas tu, tmbhkan gula & pukul lagi sampai bertanduk (soft peak). (*akak pukul lebihkurang 7-8 minit)
3. Campurkan adunan Bahan A td ke dalam adunan Bahan B yg dah gebu tu & kacau sampai sebati.
4. Sediakan tin/bekas kek yg bulat berukuran 8 inci, yg digriskan bwhnye & tepi tu salut dgn kertas baking. Tuang adunan kek dlm tin kek.
5. Bakar kek dlm kira-kira sejam, dgn cara au bain-marie (waterbath), pd 160 degrees C / 325 degrees F.
#Pd sesapa yg kurang pasti waterbath tu cmner, buatnye simpel jer. Lepas letak adunan dlm dlm tin kek, balut bwh hgga separuh tinggi tin kek dgn aluminunium foil (ni double protection agar air x masuk esp. springfoam pan, saya x konfiden tu yg wat gitu hehe, kalo xmo buat ok je tp advisable balut). Then, letak tin kek tu atas dulang pembakar, pastu tuang air panas atas dulang pembakar, preferably ½ tinggi tin kek tu, lepas tu letak ler dlm oven then bakar ler, tu aje

Udang Masam Manis,

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera
Today nakkongsi resepi Udang masam manis
Bialahlah nama aja resepi but I nih jenis kalau masak pesen campak-campak aja.. :)
Masakan nih i usually do if rasa malas nak masak and bahan-bahan masakan x berapa nak ada org kata hehe
Bahan-bahan dia:-
Udang saiz sederhana dalam 8 ekor dibersihkan, dilumur garam dan kunyit dan digoreng garing
Bawang merah 3 ulas
bawang putih 2 ulas
halia (ketiga-tiga bahan di atas ditumbuk)
secawan air
sos tomato secamca besar
sos cili 3 camca besar
nenas kiub dalam tin tu..(tin kecil)
garam dan sedikit gula


cara-caranya mudah saja
tuis bawang dan hali tadi
setelah naik bau, masukkan secawan air, sos cili, sos tomato, garam dan gula
stelah mendidih masukkan nanas kiub tadi
kemudian apabila kuah mula memekat, masukkan udang yg telah digoreng...taraaaa..siap

beginilah rupanya..bolehlah kan..untuk isi perut yang tengah berkriuk...

cucur udang dan kuah kacang

Assalamualaikum..
Lamanya x update..x sempat..so today nak share what i cooked last night.
cucq udang dan kuah kacang kata org perlis...i read it at myresepi..who is the owner of the resepi I can't remember...



inilah rupa cucoq udang cheq...
resepi dia senang aja..
sedikit udang..i guna 2 ekoq ja, sebab udang cheq besaq ...
sedikit bawang diracik haus
semangkuk kecil taugeh
semangkuk kecil kuchai
tepung gandum..dalam 3 cawan
garam dan gula
sebiji telur
dan sedikit air untuk menggaul..
campur semua bahan dan gaul...kemudian bolehlah digoreng..

untuk kuahnnya pulak...setengah cawan kacang tanah..digoreng dgn minyak
resepi asal guna cili boh i x dak so i use serbuk cili yg dibancuh dgn air
bawang merah 2 ulas
garam gula
air asam jawa
semua bahan diblend
tumiskan dgn minyak dan biarkan kuah memekat dan boleh tutup api.



nak tengok udangnya tak? nihhhlah dia....besaq kan...dua ekoq ja i guna..then i hiris2 bg jadi bnyk pieces..

memang sedap..selamat mencua ya...
